First single of the year from DD Island is a dreamy illusion — yet a nostalgic slow jam from the underbelly of NYC. We hope you enjoy.

And now, a poem:

I’ve been here before.

A boy and a girl will ever after meet.

But she’s always been in my pocket.

I have always dreamed she’d be my muse.

I can see now where the sun hasn’t come down.

Nothing that’s ever been found.

Every rainbow’s a window, and though it might not, our light might not be blinding.
