Mt. Mountain

Dust by Mt. Mountain is some intensely sweet, mind bending psych-rock from down under.

Pure awesomeness that will put you into a catatonic state while twisting your mind into an uncomfortable state.

Peace and love from La Serena, Chile.

Dub of the Month: Reggaemylitis

“Woke up this morning, with a funny funny feelin’, and that feelin’, was an unusual feelin’…”

Here is “Reggaemylitis” from Peter Tosh’s monumental album, Wanted Dread & Alive — an album of hope, and the story of the persecution of the Rastaman, so to the hills he went, a place where he resides to this day.

May the Rastaman live a long and peaceful existence, safe from the bald heads of Babylon.

Throwback Thursday: 1990

Before Daniel Johnston’s SXSW manic breakdown of 1990, Daniel traveled to New York City to record his first true studio album with the Shimmy Disc guru, Kramer.

1990 is a haunting, honest, and gut wrenching album that will break your heart while sending terrifying shivers down your spine.

Be sure to listen to this one all the way through. It’s one of the greatest lofi albums ever made in my humble opinion. It’s truly a masterpiece.

Peace and love from Antofagasta, Chile.

Wild the Coyote

Wild the Coyote is a storyteller and folk artist from the small town of Templeton, California, but is now currently based out of Los Angeles.

Here’s a very cool jam off Wild the Coyote’s latest album. Listen and dig.

Coyote released The Phantom & The Black Crow August 22nd, 2017 — it’s a dark experimental fusion of alt-folk, blues, and country.

Peace and love from Iquique, Chile.
